The objective of the ECAP+ (Early College Acceptance Program) is to ease the transition from high school to college by guiding incoming freshmen through the matriculation process.

Students who successfully complete all required steps for ECAP will receive a $400 book voucher their first year at GCC, in addition to the benefits of Promise Plus.

ECAP Sign-Up Guide for Counselors
  • Application workshops are available from January through March.
  • Workshops are offered in-person and via Zoom.
  • A computer lab must be provided, or students must have laptops with internet access to submit their applications.

ECAP Field Trip Details
  • ECAP Field Trips to GCC: Offered from March through April.
  • Included Benefits: Transportation, snacks, and lunch provided for all students.
  • Highlights of the Trip:
    • Explore the PromisePlus+ Program.
    • Enjoy a guided campus tour.
    • Connect with current GCC students.
  • Plan Ahead: Since transportation arrangements require advance planning, please share your tentative dates as soon as possible to secure a bus for your field trip.
