Take College Prep ESL classes for free and get prepared for credit classes! All classes meet in person at GCC's Verdugo Campus. College Prep students can enjoy a pleasant student lounge and easy access to Verdugo activities.
COLLEGE PREP ESL CLASSES OFFER:
- Easy transition from noncredit to credit
- Top-quality instruction in grammar, speaking, listening, and reading
- Additional practice in academic writing
- Regular visits from academic counselors
- Regular visits from a Credit ESL professor, who can advise you on credit courses
- Presentations to help you learn about credit programs and services like financial aid, registration, choosing credit classes, and academic counseling

COLLEGE PREP ESL CLASSES ARE:
- FREE, with no special documentation required.
- Available for Noncredit ESL students at Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
- Offered in person Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Verdugo Campus.
- A perfect gateway to mirrored classes, which allow you to take a Credit ESL class for free.
