Hello!
I have been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in the Noncredit ESL program at Glendale Community College (GCC) since 2014. Before GCC, I taught at Pasadena City College and Los Angeles City College, and I also taught English abroad in Japan.
At GCC, I have taught ESL courses across various levels and have served in multiple roles, including Vocational ESL Coordinator and Assistant Division Chair. I also teach in the English for Work program and support students through the Learning Cafe and Glendale LEARNS Consortium.
In addition to teaching, I have a professional background in marketing, sales, and editorial work with international educational publishing companies in both the U.S. and Japan. This experience has enriched my perspective as an educator and deepened my understanding of cross-cultural communication and language learning.
I hold an M.A. in TESOL from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning and taking language classes, traveling, watching movies, trying new food, and spending quality time with my family.
I hope to see you at GCC!
