As a Business Professor since 2007, I currently serve as the Division Chair of Noncredit Business and Life Skills at Glendale Community College’s Continuing Education division. The many roles I hold at GCC enable me to support students, faculty, and programs in ways that align with my values and lived experience.
I am a strong believer in Continuing Education because I’ve seen its impact firsthand. Having balanced education alongside work, family, and financial responsibilities, I understand the realities many adult learners face. That perspective shapes my leadership: grounded in empathy, access, and the belief that opportunity should meet people where they are.
My leadership style is collaborative and solutions-oriented, guided by a strong belief in the capabilities of both students and faculty. I am committed to strengthening responsive, innovative noncredit programs that expand access, support faculty development, and create clear pathways for lifelong learning and workforce success.
I consider it a privilege to serve this community. Education—when designed with care, purpose, and heart—has the power to transform lives, and I am energized by the opportunity to help shape that future alongside dedicated colleagues and students.
